Dr. Waters received his Bachelors (1975) and Masters (1976) degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. He obtained his Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association in 1978. He was the first audiologist in Houston, TX to actively dispense hearing aids as a part of his private practice which he maintained for 20 years.

In 2000 he enrolled at the University of Florida in the Doctor of Audiology program from which he graduated in May 2002.

He is also an interpreter for the deaf and started a program for deaf and hard of hearing students who communicate mainly with sign language at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. This program ran from 1973 until his graduation from that institution in August 1976.

He has also served as staff audiologist for major hearing instrument manufacturers.

He also teaches American Sign Language at Mohave Community College in Bullhead City, AZ and is the Audiology consultant for Bullhead City Elementary School District 15 with their deaf education program.





Richard L. Porter

Richards primary responsibility is for the installation of assistive listening systems.

He installs these systems for homes, churches, businesses, casinos, funeral homes, community centers, senior centers, and RV's.

His background as a stationary engineer is well suited to maximizing the benefits of assistive listening systems and alert systems.
